There is no church near the lake.

There has never been a bell tower along its shore, and every search beneath the water has found nothing that should be capable of making a sound.

Still, people know about the bell.

On certain nights, when the wind disappears and the lake becomes perfectly still, a deep bell can be heard somewhere beneath the surface. Not from across the water. Not from the surrounding woods.

From below.

Nobody remembers the first person who heard it. They only remember the rule:

If it rings once, go home.

Divers have searched the lakebed. Boats have crossed back and forth with equipment looking for ruins, wreckage, or anything else that might explain it.

Nothing has ever been found.

Perhaps that's for the best.

Beachwood brings a fresh, atmospheric blend to the mystery, with an airy coastal character softened by warm, woody undertones. Clean and quietly grounding, it evokes cool night air drifting across dark water and the weathered woods surrounding a secluded lake.

The vintage-inspired label depicts an impossibly still lake beneath a crescent moon and star-filled sky. Dark pines line the distant shore while moonlight reflects across the water. At the center, a single set of ripples interrupts the otherwise glasslike surface.

There is no boat.

There is no swimmer.

And there is definitely no visible bell.

Candle Care

Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each burn. For the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the vessel to encourage an even burn and help prevent tunneling. Keep the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep away from children and pets.

If it rings twice, nobody seems to remember what you're supposed to do.
