Deep in the forest, beyond the marked trails and beneath towering fir trees, there is a staircase.
Not the remains of one.
Not a staircase attached to the ruins of an old building.
A complete wooden staircase, standing perfectly upright among the trees, leading one story into the open air.
People have searched the surrounding woods for evidence of what once stood there. Old foundations. Nails. Bricks. Property records. Even a forgotten road that might have once led to a home.
They have found nothing.
There has never been a house.
Stranger still, the staircase doesn't seem abandoned. The wood remains remarkably sound despite years of rain and snow, and the banister shows none of the decay expected from something left exposed in the forest.
The steps, however, are worn.
No one seems particularly interested in explaining that part.
Fraser Fir fills the air with the crisp, woodsy fragrance of evergreens, bringing together fresh fir and the quiet atmosphere of a forest after dusk. Clean, green, and deeply outdoorsy, it's the scent of wandering beneath towering trees and perhaps knowing when you've wandered far enough.
The vintage-inspired label depicts the impossible staircase standing beneath a deep blue twilight sky, surrounded by dark evergreens and scattered stones. Nothing glows. Nothing floats. There is no ghost waiting at the top.
There is simply a staircase where a staircase has absolutely no business being.

Candle Care
Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each burn. For the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the vessel to encourage an even burn and help prevent tunneling. Keep the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep away from children and pets.
If you hear footsteps above you, don't look up. There isn't supposed to be an above.
